Peli Products, S.L.U. is the global leader in the design and manufacture of advanced lighting systems and virtually indestructible cases for protecting valuable equipment.

Peli Products was founded in 1997 as the European arm of the North American parent company Peli Products, Inc. Since then, Peli has coordinated the company’s activity in Europe, Middle East and Africa from Barcelona.

In order to meet increasing global demand, the company started up manufacturing operations in Europe, in October 2007. The European facility is located in Crottendorf, Germany, and is working in tandem with the 60,960 square meter plant the company owns in Torrance, California.

In addition to the EMEA headquarters in Barcelona; the company opened Peli Products France S.A.S (Bourg en Bresse, near Lyon) and Peli Products Germany GmbH (Düsseldorf), in the beginning of 2008.

In June 2008, Peli Products acquired the innovative lighting manufacturer Blue i UK Ltd. This acquisition complemented Peli Products strategic vision to position the company as the pioneer in new lighting technology.

Through the acquisition of Blue i, Peli Products launched its Advanced Area Lighting Group (AALG), a new line of products bringing portable, powerful, energy-efficient and environmentally responsible lighting technology to remote area applications.

In December 2008, Pelican™ Products, Inc., the mother company of Peli Products S.L, acquired its long-time competitor, Hardigg Industries, the world's largest manufacturer of roto molded protective cases. This new combined entity employs over 1,500 people in 23 offices and 6 manufacturing facilities in 12 countries around the world.

Recognizing the potential of Middle Eastern markets, the company opened an affiliate in Ras Al Khaimah (UAE), in January 2009.
